Sometimes you meet someone and instantly think "Thank God! This is the exact person I need in my life right now." That is exactly what I thought about Jami Thompson of Jami Thompson Photography. She is true, honest, and basically told me exactly what I needed to hear from another woman who was in similar shoes as mine a year prior. Having spent time and money on my undergrad in Finance and my masters in Economics and landing a corporate job, being promoted to manager and then realizing that what you really love is Photography is scary. My husband is my constant supporter and has been encouraging me to leave my corporate job and pursue photography, but fear and my stubborn nature was holding me back. I was so close, but just couldn't take the leap. Meeting Jami at her "Anything Goes Social" and hearing her story made me extra confident in my decision to follow my dream. Sometimes you need to hear what you've been hearing for so long from another woman who did it and is successful. Also hearing that you aren't alone is such a blessing. (Thank you Jami! And Thank you Babe! Sorry it took me so long. You married a stubborn lady who loves you unconditionally! Believe me, my stubbornness comes in handy sometimes. Muah!) I am such a lucky lady to have a husband that supports me and the financial stability to take such a risk.
As of Monday, November 17th, 2014 I transitioned from full-time financial analyst and part-time photographer to part-time financial analyst and full time photographer!! I am so excited to really get my photography business off the ground! My list of goals is never ending! I am so excited to see where this new road takes me and my family! Weekday sessions are now available!

I'm a squinty-eyed, gap-toothed smiling photographer & I'd love to capture you and your loved ones!
Being in front of the camera isn't 100% natural for me, but I think it's definitely important for photographers to know what it feels like and how to make it fun and make you feel beautiful!
Smiles everywhere! I am very happy about my decision!
Oh and I am a Nikon lady.
Thank you so much for the new headshots Jami Thompson Photography!! You rock lady!!
Much Love,
